The package's Macintosh softwareand PC software with built-in communications enables users to connect aMacintosh to a PC, NeXT, or Sun serial port using the included cable or amodem. Access is provided to disks, directories, or files, all from aMacintosh using familiar menus and dialogues.MacLinkPlus/PC's library of translators provides file translation duringtransfer, or the translators can be separated for use with the Apple FileExchange utility or from within MacWrite II. The package adds more than100 translation combinations to AFE and 14 import/export options toMacWrite II.
